Great first experience and worth the extra drive For me. Had a litter of pups checked and got the works done for them at a very reasonable price and got in and out quickly! Everyone was super kind and welcoming. Gorgeous facility and location, also. Would highly recommend them!

Very pleased with the whole process of getting my dog Millie spayed here. The receptionist, vet assistants, and Veterinarian Lauren were all friendly. They called me when she was out of surgery and gave me all the information I needed to take care of her after. 10/10 recommend!

Lowest prices for the area and the vets seem to be good at their job. Sometimes we have felt a little rushed and other times we have been focused on and they have gone above and beyond. Also if your a new patient that can cause some issues, luckily my family already had a relationship with them, but before I knew that it was difficult to get in. The vet techs and assistants are so sweet. My animals do seem to have some preferences of which vet and which techs they visit with. The female vet has been amazing when we have been able to go on days she is available.

Abby's dog food is going up in price but is going Everyone there is helpful. I needed my bag carried out to my car and the person behind the desk gladly did it for me. Thank you

My husband and I absolutely love Slate River. We can only say excellent service everytime we take our crazy pets there. It's always clean and everyone is so polite and helpful and I love how they work so well with us and our pets. I highly recommend this service and thank each and everyone of the employee's for making us feel good about taking our fir babies to the vet and again thank you for your excellent services!

They are an awesome veterinary clinic! You can definitely see they care for their animals. They take time in explaining everything and are up front with costs. Their prices are very reasonable. Very clean.

I take both my dog and cat here and had my dog neutered here. The vet techs are very friendly and helpful and both Dr. Auten and Dr. Lawson take good care of my pets. They take their time with you and your pets and answer any questions. Prices are very reasonable. I drive about 40 minutes one way to take my pets here and it's worth the drive.

The care and advice they provided for my English Bulldog Mabel were truly exceptional. When we first brought her home from the breeder, she had some issues, but thanks to their guidance and support, she is now thriving. Mabel adores visiting their office - as soon as we pull into the parking lot, her little tail starts wagging with excitement. I am so grateful for the wonderful care they have given Mabel and I wholeheartedly recommend them for all your veterinary needs.

I live 1.5 hrs away, but through recommendations and family, I have met Dr. Auten, and I am SO glad and relieved. My pup was given a “plan” by another vet that I wasn’t sure about- wanted a 2nd opinion, and found Dr. Auten. Peony has now had the successful surgery, and is doing great! 👍 10⭐️ if I could!
